Description
Pont Jacques-Cartier Bridge, woven in 2020, is hand-woven with a cotton warp, bamboo weft, fiber optics, a micro controler and 22k gold leaf. It is framed and the electronic parts are hidden inside the frame. This tapestry was created for the exhibition in 2021 called “Vibrations sur fibres Rétrospective Paulette-Marie Sauvé” at the Musée des métiers d’art du Québec.
