This tapestry triptych was woven in 2020 for my exhibition in 2021 at the Museum of Fine Crafts of Quebec in Montreal: “Vibrations sur fibres, rétrospective Paulette-Marie Sauvé”. It is now in their permanent collection. / Cette tapisserie triptyque tissée en 2020 est dans la collection permanente du Musée des métiers d’art du Québec (MUMAQ).
This work, hand-woven on a TC2 Jacquard loom, contains bamboo yarn, cotton, and tiny LED lights animated by a micro controller in a wooden frame. / Tissé sur métier Jacquard avec lumières DEL, microcontrôleur, bambou, coton, encadrement en bois / 158 x 229 x 8 cm
